Make It To The Moon: The Unsung Heroes Of Apollo is a premium, special event documentary full of wonder and high drama.
It features four trailblazing teams – contracted by NASA – who take up President John F. Kennedy’s challenge to land a man on the Moon before the end of the 1960s.
This two-part documentary series was timed to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first Moon landing on July 20, 1969. The original commissioner: Discovery Channel. I developed the design of the whole documentary series, with it being a combination of 3D photorealistic Moon landings and flights towards the ‘dark side’ of the Moon, and a retro-style animation used for scenes exposing various scientific and technological aspects and challenges.
